QUESTIONS and answers

Here are some things we've been asked, plus some things we imagine people might ask. Please send us any other questions you have! We will answer, and keep updating here.

MAGA? HAGA?

Yes, HAGA is just one letter from MAGA, Make America Great Again, a simple slogan that should not be as divisive as it has become. We see HAGA as an opportunity to help heal that divide, and hope you will too.

Do you expect everyone to hold hands and sing Kumbaya?

No, but if that works for you, go for it. Some might not join in, though. Try not to be disappointed or get mad at them.

Still, music can be a great way to bridge differences. Food too. Just remember that tastes vary. A lot.

Is everything really Red and Blue?

Not at all. We recognize that political views are complex, and that "the two major parties" simply get the most attention. We just couldn't fit everything into our pretty pie graphs. You might find it interesting to know that "until the 1980s, Democrats were often represented by red and Republicans by blue", so the colors aren't really the important thing.

How can I donate money?

Find a worthy charity or cause and give money to them.

How do I donate money to Help America Get Along?

Oh, you can't. We're not set up for that. Expenses are very low, and we plan to keep it that way.

How will you spread the word without raising funds?

We will wear hats and shirts and things, and tell people about this site. You can too. Please.

What about Truth?

Good question. Turns out it's complicated. Very complicated.

We will suggest, however, that it is better to offer than to impose, and that perhaps Truth is more journey than destination.

Truth is so obscure in these times, and falsehood so established, that, unless we love the truth, we cannot know it.
